Some people have a special way of making everything around them work just a little bit better—and this year’s Staff Member of the Year, Missy Blackmon, is the perfect example of that.
She manages to do it all with efficiency, grace, and a smile on her face. Whether she’s multitasking behind the scenes, helping solve a problem, answering questions, or simply offering a piece of candy or a listening ear, Missy is always there for both students and staff.
Her kindness, dependability, and genuine care for others make our school stronger every single day. She truly is the glue that holds so much together, and Andrew Jackson Middle School is better because of her.
