Students ages 11-13, Alpha Kappa Alpha is hosting a YLI Kickoff Fest on June 7, 2025 from 11-2 at 122 S. Market Street, Lancaster.

Wednesday is awards day and 8th grade promotion. The 6th grade awards program begins at 8:45am in the VPAC, the 7th grade awards program begins at 10:00am in the middle school gym, and the 8th grade promotion ceremony begins at 6:00pm in the VPAC. Please note that metal detectors will be in use and the clear bag policy applies to all three events. Thursday and Friday are half days for students. Students will be dismissed at 11:15 on both of these days. This is a reminder that all medication in the nurse's office must be picked up by an adult by Friday, May 30th at 11:30 am. Any medication that is left will be disposed of. Any rising 7th grader that has not received their TDap immunization for 7th grade needs to take care of that before August. If your student will be needing medication at school next school year please let Nurse Reeves know and she will get you the paperwork you need. Reminder - overdue notices have been given to students. Books that have been damaged or lost will need to be paid for before the last day of school. We have a few remaining yearbooks available for purchase. Students are able to bring $35 cash with exact change to purchase a yearbook beginning on Wednesday. These yearbooks are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Schools and offices will be closed Monday, May 26, in observance of Memorial Day.
